Get Ready With Me x Althea

I mostly do my Korean beauty shopping at Althea, aside from promotions, they have a great deal from time to time which is beauty box. I love how they come up with this idea, they will assemble products according to the theme and normally they have 2-3 different beauty boxes each time, and the box varies with different theme every month too. I ordered a "Get Ready With Me'' box last month to try out!

Products will be listed down in the description on their website, if we like that month's box, we could just place order. It's a great way (or lazy way) to discover new Korean skincare or makeup! There's no need for monthly subscription so we could just buy anytime we like.

Each box consists of 6-12 full sized products! In this "Get Ready With Me" box, I needed the toner, blusher, and eyeshadow, so the rest of them are just like a bonus for me and who knows I might discover some new gems!

1. Beuins: Honey Scrub Mask

This is a honey exfoliating mask infused with Manuka honey.

This is the new gem in this box! It is very moisturizing face mask with exfoliation, very gentle to the skin. Dislike any other scrub, my skin doesn't feel dry after using it. Instead my skin is more hydrated and smooth after the exfoliation step!

2. Aritaum: Real Pure Peeling Booster

This product suppose to exfoliate and boost your skin at once. It is also an exfoliator but there's no need for rinsing afterwards.  

It comes with a pump.

I tried to experiment with a rather huge blackhead for 3-4 days, using only this as my exfoliator twice a day. I don't see any visible changes to my blackhead, still prefer to use the regular scrub to exfoliate my skin.

3. Whamisa: Organic Flower Toner (Original)

This is my favourite in this box! I wanted to try this toner after all the hype, and it's good! It's a toner with organic flower extracts. It uses only pure natural ingredients and it's 97.97% organic. A hydrating toner which is great for my dry skin and it smells like kimchi flowers (what I mean is it smells like a fermented flowers lol).

4. Tonymoly: BCDation Moisture Cover Cushion (Warm Beige)

A moisturizing cover cushion

It has brightening & anti-wrinkle and with SPF 50+ PA+++

I expected the colour to be darker as it's in ''warm beige'' but it is not. It's also surprisingly very good coverage for a cushion foundation. The only thing I don't like is the puff is too small, I could barely grab the puff with my fingers (well to be fair my fingers are slightly longer than other girls).

5. Abbamart: Eyes on me Eyeshadow (Cinnamon)

I think I was just lucky, I like this eyeshadow too! I'm the type of girl who prefer natural makeup, this colour is just right for my taste to create that kind of "No Makeup" make up look.

6. Colornique: Coral Pink

This blusher too! It's natural and light! I was always looking for suitable blusher but most of the products are quite colour-pigmented. This blusher just added a little glow on my face which I really love!

7. Etude House: Dear Darling Water Gel Tint (Chilly Red)

The only product I didn't quite like in the box, because of the super red colour.

 

However, the application is very easy with the design of the applicator. I am a very impatient person when comes to applying lipstick but this applicator helps me to paint my lips within the lip area. It's moisturizing too.

I'm very satisfied with this box, I love 5 out of 7 products in the box. And it's a lot cheaper buying the beauty box then the product itself too! :)
