The Heat Pants - Does It Work? [ft. Jonlivia Active Hotpants]

I've been working out regularly for at least 2 years now but I didn't really eat as healthy as I should. I've this skinny fat body type with bloating stomach, so one of my new year resolutions for 2018 is to loose some belly fat and hopefully, gain some abs!

The Heat Pants trend has taken up a storm on social media platform for quite some time and I've seen some girls wearing them at the gym, so I've always tempted to try one out and I was lucky enough to reached out by Jonlivia

Before going straight to my personal review, let's talk about the product information:

I tried on the Jonliva Active Hotpants S5+

It looks exactly like a Yoga pants or some sorts, with very thick quality fabric material. The pants feels a lot more durable compare to the regular workout or Yoga pants.

The care instructions are on the inside of the pants

The ActivPants series work with the technology by using the material called Neoprene, and it's called the "Heatprene" because this kind of material helps to best control the body heat with any types of activities from exercising or simple walk. More calories and excessive water retention were burnt by wearing this.

It has a very small pocket inside too!

I've worn this for a few times, for the first two times, I worn it without any exercising for about 30 mins. It felt tight when you trying to wear it but it fits you right. Except for the tightness of the pants, I didn't feel anything else, not until I took it off. I was surprised to see the amount of sweat from my pants! It was drenching with sweats! The amount of sweats inside the pants made the inner part super wet but the not the outer part. Amazing thing was, the sweats only came from the pants and not the other part of my body!

My first reaction was: ARE THIS PANTS THE SAUNA FOR MY LEGS?

It definitely is.

I get the size XS, when I first got this, I kept doubting myself whether I'm going to fit in this. I tried it on, it felt tight, but it fits me perfectly. However I never wear anything so tight before, I am a loose pants/ skirt type of girl so I'm really not used to the tightness. A little tip for you if you first trying this kind of pants on, you may try to inquire with the retailer, if your size is between say XS and S, I'd suggest you to go with S; but if you're used to the tightness and opt for a faster result, just get the size you're supposed to.

I'm not feeling any discomfort from wearing this, just some tightness that I'm not so used to. You can see from the picture above it looks normal and fits me perfectly. I love the way the fabric feels on my skin too, it's soft (well I imagined it'd be harder material for this to work).

And the pants has no issue of me stretching very widely during Yoga/ Pilate session!

I'm now wearing a few times a month (I'm slowly increasing my usage frequencies) for my workout session. I've not seen a very obvious result yet but I can definitely feel the pants helps to tighten my thigh and belly muscle.

I personally love wearing this on my stretching day!

It looks good on casual day out too!

I workout quite regularly (4-5 times a week) and I hate to sweat other than my workout time, so I usually wear it before workout, travel to the gym (it usually takes 20-30 mins) and I'll continue with my workout to let it sweat a little bit more.

For lazy girls, you may just wear it anywhere you'd love to because it actually looks like a nice pair of leggings!
